March, Looking back at February

Here it is the beginning of March. February was a busy month for me. I was very busy with an art show, and art exhibitions. One of my favorite accomplishments this month was showing four of my paintings in the Biltmore Fashion Square Art Exhibition sponsored by Axion Gallery. I was honored to have a gallery choose my work for this event.

The other achievement this month was becoming a jury member of the Sonora Art League. SAL had 4 independent jurors that looked over 5 of my paintings to see if I was qualified to become a Juried member. They look for composition, creativity, and technique. The jurors also look at presentation. The jurors look at the sides of the canvas, and the back of the canvas to see if my painting looks professional. I'm happy to say I got in!

 I see cracks in the ceiling!!!! One small step towards being represented by a gallery. This month I am working on my art portfolio getting it ready to show to galleries. I may not get into a gallery this year but that does not stop me from trying. I will keep you up to-date on my adventure for Gallery representations.
